After making waves across the capital and Edinburgh, this is their first site in Manchester, opening up in the multi-million pound redevelopment of Grade II-listed building Manchester Hall. The restaurants are inspired by Bombay’s old Irani cafes.
Famed for their breakfasts, they offer up Bombay omelettes, naan rolls filled with sausages, eggs and bacon, as well as kejriwal, which is two fried eggs on chilli cheese toast. For their all-day menu, there’s everything from lamb samosas to prawn koliawada, (comes with tamarind and date chutney), and larger plates like biryani, masala and tikka. For drinks there’s cocktails and sharbats, which are special fruit juices.
